Competition team is an optional advanced training program for dancers seeking additional performance and competitive experience.
Annual competition tryouts/auditions will be held in the month of August.
2026/2027 Competition Year Audition is scheduled for Tuesday August 4th 6:00PM-7:00PM

Competition Team Information
Welcome to On Pointe Dance Studio Dance Studio
There will only be one competition team for the 2026 dance year. Ages 10-18 are welcome to try out/audition. If there is more interest in competition teams, we will split age groups farther.
Competition Requirements:
- Must be between the ages of 10-18
- Must enroll in the competition dance class for the fall and spring semester
- Must enroll in Ballet/Jazz combo class for the fall and spring semester
- Competition dancers can only miss 2 classes per semester before they will be required to pay for a private lesson to keep up with the rest of the team
Competition Team Costs
Competitions
The On Pointe Competition Team will attend two competitions during the 2026–2027 dance season. Locations/Dates/Times are TBD. Will be within 2 hours of Tomah, WI.
Travel
Families are responsible for all travel expenses and transportation to and from competitions.

Tuition and Fees September, October, November and December
During these months, competition-related fees will be included in monthly tuition.
Estimated tuition: $350 per month, per dancer
This monthly amount includes:
• Registration fees for two competitions (one routine)
• One competition costume
• Ballet/Jazz class tuition
• Competition class tuition
• Custom competition team jacket
Tuition and Fees January, February, March, April and May
Beginning in December, tuition will return to the standard monthly rate of $125 per dancer for:
• Competition class tuition
• Ballet/Jazz class tuition
Recital Costumes Note
Spring recital costume for the Ballet/Jazz class will be billed separately. Costumes are $80/each and will be billed with the February tuition payment.
Solos/Duets/Trios
If interested in a solo/duet/trio performance, additional $125/month per dance number for the months of September, October and November. Additional class required to learn the choreography as well.

Example cost for entire dance season:
Total cost for the dance year September to May is $2,105
($1,895 if paid up front with 10% discount)

-One group dance competing in 2 separate competitions
